Listen, I know Mike Seaver seems to think that hatred is a patriotic, brave stance to take in this country, but it isn’t. It’s hilarious that Mr. Growing Pains himself seems to think he has any idea what actually constitutes such a thing.

Let’s play a game, Kirk. It’s called: your privilege as a straight white man means you have actually quite literally no idea what it means to have growing pains. Growing up constantly taunted because you are seemingly “different” from what you call the “natural” way of life; for being a way that you are simply BORN. Do you think any person in the history of time would actually choose to grow up gay in a world where tehy are surrounded by relentless torture, bullying, and bigotry? You think they would still endure that if they could simply just poo-poo their feelings and biological make-up away? You have absolutely no clue how the world works. You quite literally clutch to your Old Testament bullshit as if it were the word of God himself when everybody knows it was written by a bunch of dudes hundreds of years after the big dude’s son came down and allegedly walked around on water and then turned that shit to wine. You think that the world somehow doesn’t evolve (because evolution is bad, right? Ahhh, dinosaurs and science!), and that definitions of things can’t also evolve? Remember when the world was TOTALLY 100% FLAT?

What say you then of your opinions (you WERE a former Athiest, remember!) about religion? Would you say that they…EVOLVED in your favor after you felt you gained a better understanding of them? And don’t you think that if you actually sat down, read some science books (rather than telling people they’ll go to hell for reading them, because, you know, education is the root of all evil or whatever), met these people you so grotesquely despise for no actual real reason of any substance, that maybe—just maybe!—your opinions might EVOLVE into understanding? You’d never do that though, because putting any cracks in this foundation of fear you’ve built up around yourself would mean that every single thing you’ve turned yourself into is a lie. And that you are a lie. And these archaic ideals that you still somehow believe can be the end-all, be-all of humanity…you’ll realize that those, too, are a lie.

All this bullshit that you’ve spoon-fed yourself has turned you into a very unChristian-like person. And I feel so terribly sorry for you that you have to live a life that’s half-complete, half-true, half-fulfilled because you can’t just accept love for being what it is: love. FIRE AND BRIMSTONE! PLAGUES AND DEATH! GAY PEOPLE WANT TO KISS ON THE MOUTH AND RAISE CHILDREN INTO NORMAL HEALTHY PEOPLE.

If you want to get rid of all the gay people, you should reprimand your straight friends for having all those gay babies. Root of the problem, eh? Why are you so blind to facts? Why is it OK for people to make up their own truth and their own science that has absolutely no basis in reality whatsoever?
