You guys I caught the pilot today and it is JUST SO GOOD and great and hilarious and had me doing those burst-laughs that can sometimes be awkward if you have too much saliva in your mouth.
Mindy Kaling, you made a really hilarious and fantastical pilot and if you need another writer on the show, I’m good I promise—which is really saying something because I don’t really give myself credit for being halfway decent at anything.
First really good pilot episode I’ve seen in awhile.
Guess who’s coming to Fox this fall in her very own series? Mindy Kaling’s sitcom, It’s Messy (formerly known as Mindy), is about a “young Bridget Jones-type doctor who tries to navigate both her personal and professional lives.” The pilot was developed at NBC’s studio, but moved to Fox when the Peacock passed. It just received a series order.

Hey Mindy, girl, give me a call. I’ve heard you’re looking for me because I have super-fly nails, am really funny, am a writer, and recently moved to LA. I think we could do big, awkward, hilarious things together.
